I love tomatoes and I need help. Last year I tried planting two tomato plants. All went well for about a month and then both plants died. They just died from the bottom of the stem up toward the top, more every day. Does anyone know what happened? What did I do wrong? Water, too much, too little? Lousy soil?

I say a dogwood is a tree, but my girlfriend says it's a flower too. Who's right?

I have a bright office with a lot of direct light. Someone told me that ferns were an easy indoor plant, but I've killed several. What do I do?

Anyone have any compost tips? What to use? Where to get it?
